Volunteering

Watching Trees is run by a small team and with a limited capacity of just 500 people. We’ve had some amazing volunteers that helped us deliver magical weekends. We are pleased to open the volunteer ticket scheme again.

What is involved?

We need a team of volunteers to do 1x 6 hour shift over the weekend. No prior experience is necessary and the role will be explained to you in advance. Examples of the types of shifts:

We are always looking for volunteers with specialised skills such as First Aid, medical training, welfare and safeguarding etc. If you have experience in any of these areas, please let us know in your application.

How do I apply?

If you are selected for the volunteer scheme, you will be asked to place a deposit which will be fully refunded when you arrive for your shift.

New volunteers: £195 deposit
If you have volunteered before: £100 deposit

You'll receive your shift times and volunteer details before the event. As we are a small team, we carefully plan shifts to ensure everything runs smoothly - these cannot be changed once scheduled.

We operate on principles of mutual aid and collective responsibility, as we are a small team, we rely on dedicated volunteers to help make the festival a success. Please only apply if you are genuinely committed to completing your assigned shifts, as last-minute dropouts and no-shows put extra strain on our small team.
