WHAT EXACTLY IS WATCHING TREES?

Watching Trees is the combined dream world of Optimo (Espacio), Ransom Note and many beautiful friends we’ve made along the way. Our first edition took place in the rolling hills and woodlands of the Awre District. This year we have found a new home at an even more incredible location in the countryside of North Wiltshire. Same Watching Trees experience… but for this year only… slightly different.

Watching Trees is committed to creating a place where you can truly lose yourself in music, amongst nature.

HOW DOES A 24-HOUR WATCHING TREES GATHERING WORK

We have a full program of music but not 24 hours solely ‘in the dance’. Watching Trees offers you an excursion, a musical odyssey from our minds to yours. We will begin at lunchtime on Saturday 1st June with bands and DJs performing all manner of wild planet sounds and as evening transitions into night, we move fully into the dance and then much later, slipping into the weird zone… then on into the dawn with ashram sets, dub stylings, tai chi, and a lot more besides, welcoming in a new day together, enriched.

WHERE CAN I STAY?

All tickets for our 24-hour 2024 edition include camping - bring your own tent for free and pitch up or check the many local accommodation options.

If you don’t feel like constructing or bringing your own dwelling for the weekend, you can Rent a Tent for charity where you can get a regular tent set up and ready to go for your arrival, just bring your own bedding or sleeping bags. Not only will you be travelling light but the tents will be donated to Homeless Project Scotland after the event to help those in need - all lovingly hand delivered by our very own Jonnie! All we ask is for you to kindly pack up your tent for the delivery.

HOW DO I GET THERE?

This never before used site in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside has, as you might expect, lots of trees. To help reduce our carbon footprint and ensure safe tree watching we have return coach travel running from London Paddington and  Bristol Airport and Bristol Temple Meads which will take you straight on site on the Saturday and whisk you back on the Sunday. The closest train stations are Chippenham and Bath Spa.
